Secwepemc OpenOffice.orgWe are a new project to translate OpenOffice.org into Secwepemctsín. It is one 60 Indigenous Languages of Canada. It is our hope that the localization and translation of software into our langauge will help with langauge revitalization.
The secwepemc Language translation has come along way since last year. We have a wordbank site thanks to a local School District 73. The current focus is on developing the hunspell dictionary, which can be viewed from the CVS page. We need to ask permission from Chief Atahm School and Secwepemc Cultural Education Society to make use of their wordlists. This shouldn't be a problem.
